I returned to the UN HQ Delegates Lounge for the first time in years. During the pandemic it remained closed and all the chairs and tables were stacked in one corner sadly. Like the end of the Prom or a restaurant that had filed for bankruptcy. Today I sat in the corner the chairs white the table tops green, sun bathing the whole scene in cinematic light. I ordered one espresso they gave me two. Some days you just feel lucky.
