Sometimes after you've grumbled to yourself about all the annoyances and disappointments this city delivers on an endless conveyor belt, you stop and look up and say, "Oh yeah! New York! I remember, now." It's that place. That inspired musicals, and canvasses splashing with colour and  crooned ballads and devours innocence and ambition in its ever-churning mechanical maw. The big arrow at the top of the building says, "You Are Here."
