You should never tell people about their dreams because dreams are only interesting to you, but what the hell. Even though my audience is for the moment highly selective I still struggle with the idea of posting my thoughts publicly, which is why social media has never been a good fit for me. That’s probably why I dreamed I was naked last night. I think publicizing my thoughts on some level feels like being naked in public so last night my metaphor came to life and I was sitting around with friends unclothed feeling only slightly embarrassed. And the people around me act like they do in dreams. Indifferent and too polite to point out the obvious. So I think I slinked out at some point looking for pants, and the dream’s supporting cast went on, never missing a beat, the backing band to my subconscious.
