Moondog was a blind musician who loved mostly on the streets of Manhattan among the trench-coated businessmen looking like the king of all the homeless people wearing viking horns and enormous draped garments. He probably made most of the people that passed him a little scared or made them laugh, but he was likely mostly avoided and ignored as they went about their mundane business.
But he also made music. And for many people he will never know much he's done for us.
