There are a more deluxe  class of buses in Korea that have comfortable seats that recline, moveable armrests and curtains, so that you almost feel like you're riding in an RV. Curtains on the window make your seat feel like a little moving house as if you're at a kitchen window peering out at the world rolling by. It has the advantage of blocking out the prying eyes of drivers, cutting out the bright hot glare of the sun or allowing cat naps. It allows for a curated view of the world cutting it into manageable slivers.
