There are a lot of photographs of meat in shop windows and outside butchers and  restaurants that seem vaguely retro and kind of call to mind 80s-era magazines about sports stars and pop singers. For me they make the consuming of meat more appealing and more disgusting in equal measure. If you happen to be vegetarian, it must be a horror show of sorts.
