The floor was so shiny it looked like a reflecting pool. Sometimes an environment is so artificial it doubles back on itself and mimics the natural world. Away from the crowded parts, this corner of the underground mall felt oddly calming. It asked nothing of us except to be there and to see and hear our surroundings. The highly polished floors a body of dry water. The reflections of oblong lights become on the ground  like glowing sea creatures. And the perfectly illuminated circles immortal immovable stars.
