The other day taking the train home and sick of my podcasts and tired of the ads interrupting my now-free version of Spotify, I ended up inside this song. Ever get inside a work of art and feel like you're seeing it from the inside? Not that you have any special insight or anything but you become part of it somehow, part of the logic behind its creation and experience it as if for the first time. This song was once a radio staple I didn't give much thought to but over the years it has seeped into my pores. Alternating the hallelujahs and the hare krishnas is just tossed off  -  typical George Harrison - but cuts much deeper as you re-listen - also typical George Harrison, probably the Beatle I've also most identified with. On this listen in addition to being rocked into comfort by the acoustic guitar riff swaying back and forth, I hooked onto the way he alternates between "It takes so long" and "it won't take long." It can't be both but it's both. You can make of that what you will.
