It's called "Haero"and it's the coffee shop in Seoul I think about most when I'm not there. It's in a back alley hidden from the main street so it doesn't impose itself on you. But the courtyard is beautiful to look into or sit in. The staff are uniformly friendly and helpful but in an understated natural way that doesn't make you feel pressured or uncomfortable. It's within an old traditional style house enveloping you in soft brown wood on all sides but filled with light. It has a lot of the qualities I think I value most in people. The quieter ones off to the side who have a lot to offer but it's up to you to discover it...and the coffee is out of this world too.
